IMPORTANT...
You will not be able to edit your DBS check once it's been submitted, if you do not follow the instructions below you will have to pay for a new check.

You will need to complete a separate DBS application for each household member (and yourself).
Share the same link with each household member so they can complete their own DBS application.
Do your application/s using a laptop or tablet.

You need to submit 3 identity documents for each household member. The portal will ask for a minimum of two documents but we must have 3.
Your application is not complete and won't be processed unless you submit 3 forms of ID for each application.
Important Notes to make sure your DBS won't be withdrawn (if your DBS is withdrawn you will need to pay the fee again):
- Personal Information:Make sure to declare your complete name history from birth to present. Including forenames, middle names and surnames. Never put initials, none or N/A. Also please ensure no spaces at the beginning or at the end of your details (example. forenames, middle names, surnames, National Insurance numbers, email address etc.)
- Personal History: If you are married and did not change your surname, use title as Mrs. then 'Yes' to changing your name, and then reconfirm the same surname. This will demonstrate that your surname has not changed.
- Address Information:Make sure to put your exact Room Number/House Number/Flat number using the "Manual Entry" Button.
- Documents with extension file as .HEIC are not permitted hence you won't be able to upload the documents in their DBS application. Please ensure you use .jpg .jpeg .png or .pdf

Please double check that your name (and middle names) and address history matches the documents you are submitting.
If you have a middle name on your driver's licence it must be included on your application. You will not be able to go back to edit any information once the check is submitted. If it is wrong or does not match you will have to re-submit and pay for a new check.
